REQUESTING the LEGAL STAY OF STUDENTS AND SCIENTISTS (NATIVES of the CATEGORIES III AND IV)
legal basis: Article 46, decree No. 33611-G "regulation for visa requests of students and scientists" from 6 March 2007
When the foreigner whom the provisional visa of the special category was granted, has entered the country, the educational institution must process the formalities for the final grant of the residence permit of the student, scientist or their member. Therefore the following documents must be submitted:

1. Request in favour of the foreigner, who entered with the provisional visa, signed by the legal representative of the educational institution or by a deputy. In the request it should be mentioned that the foreigner was granted a visa in the special category and that he entered the country in order to process the appropriate formalities. Legal basis: Article 23, paragraph 1, decree No. 33611-G from 6 March 2007

2. Proof of fingerprints of the foreigner whom the request is provided for, of the Ministry for Public Security, except for
children under the age of 12. Legal basis: Article 23, paragraph 1, decree No. 33611-G from 6 March 2007

3. Two passport photos of the foreigner whom the request is provided for. Legal basis: Article 23, paragraph 1, decree No. 33611-G from 6 March 2007

4. When a decision concerning the grant of the residence permit of the special category has been made, the official representative of the educational institution or a deputy must submit the following documents to the foreigner authority:

a. Proof confirming the payment for the document of the special category (article 249, migration law).

b. Receipt in favour of the government of US $10 according to the payment of taxes for the issuance of the document
(article 251, migration law).

c  Receipt of the deposit (article 128, migration law).
